I once went to Bhimbetka, MP ( the cradle of civilization ) for some research work . It had cave paintings which were 10,000 years old.
Looking at those cave paintings I realized the importance of art.
Only when a monkey started drawing on the cave wall , he became self – aware . The act of creating a sketch on the wall was what started the transition from monkey to a human being.
So this is why I keep doing paintings and creating art . Trying to keep my inner monkey at a distance and remind myself of my humanity 🙂
